Character

The English Bull Terrier is an intelligent, energetic and deeply devoted dog that forms a strong bond with its family. It is the “class clown” among dogs – a spirited companion that hates being alone and wants to be part of everything.

The breed is known for its playful nature, its courage and its great love of people. With the right upbringing and socialisation, it becomes a balanced, reliable and loving dog that fits perfectly into an active household and makes a wonderful friend for children.

What to consider

The Bull Terrier needs consistent training, plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. It needs firm but fair boundaries and early socialisation. This is not a breed that can be left home alone all day.

We recommend weighing up the time, energy and money for quality food and veterinary care. We’ll gladly help you make up your mind – feel free to get in touch even before you decide on a puppy.
